If you want to try a WW2 flight sim,  there is only one place you want to go.

FB+AEP+PF  (forgotten battles with all the updates) is the only ww2 flight simulation right now. Nothing comes close to it.

nah, il2 flight model sucks, and the gunnery is terrible too. if it had better physics it would be far better, and of course the small amount of online players mean its nowhere near AH, and once ToD or 'CT' comes out, HT and crew can work on updating graphics, and then, AH will be untouchable

And as evidence of this you post a shot of an expermental aircraft that was tested in active service very briefly, then withdrawn as a failure? Riiight....

that is the ugliest screen shot I have ever seen. AH1 beta looked better.

no thanks.

"Graphic simulation: IL2
Flight simulation: Targetware
Game play:Aces High"

I'd add best extensive WW2 war simulation: WW2Online

Ouch!! That had to hurt.

As for that screen shot, it is pretty horrible. Those prop discs on the B...(what is it? a B29?Seems to have domes on the top, but I'm not sure. Maybe an experimental American bomber that took part in "forgotten battles of WWII" Can't tell!!) are way poor. Plus those forgotten battles are so forgotten that history tells us they never infact happened.;)
The thing is that when you start calling games WWII this and WWII that, you really need to stick to authentic planes and scenarios, like Combat Tour will hopefully do.

"If youre going there thinking they have a better game as far as a flight sim goes you're going to be pretty disapointed."

Unfortunately that is true, too.
That is why I'm unsubbed currently after 3 years of playing.  :(
