the "information" line for the info.txt file, should that be my info or background info on the skin?
Also, can I include source photos from my computer instaed of a list of URLs?

Yup, I frequently do, but you have to make it a .doc file (ie Office 2000/XP) instead of .txt file (ie notepad).
It's not used in the game, only to make the skin approvers job easier.

I include the images in a zip (like "references.zip" or "refs.zip") and briefly explain their importance or how I used them etc... in the text file.
