U.S. About to get some new hardware.

I heard that under the new admin we will probably be getting some more military stuff, including a NEW class of cruiser.
not sure if i heard right, anyone wanna pick this one up?

That new cruiser class is the DD-21 Zumwalt. Named after the famous Admiral Zumwalt who died last year about this time. SEALs in Vietnam loved the guy since he was looking after them. Trying to keep the political crap out of the area. Downside is the new gun they're developing for it isn't the greatest. Some sort of high-velocity gun with a really slow rate of fire. Then again, right now the US 5" gun onboard current ships has the slowest RoF of any 5" gun out there.
