Terrain Editor issues

I really miss snow tiles, desert tiles, etc. I really appreciate the time HTC put into the latest terrain editor months back, but frankly it was a BIG step backward for events.  Two years ago they could put out some fantastic tiles. Now they are all... the same. Here is a couple examples of some North Africa terrain tiles.

I wish I had some pics of the snow tiles in Finland. Anyway, it was a step back for our terrains and those that work on them.

Now it is harder to make new land types such as desert, but when time is devoted we can come up with much better results. I DO however miss the old coastal transitions

I hope so. How long has the new editor been out? Over 6 months now? Just wish it was easier for the terrain team to make tiles like they used to.  Just feels like a step back.
