I don't like Kobe and I did get a sense of schadenfreude when news of this broke, but after following the case I have to say that I'm pretty doubtful about his guilt. I can tell that some people in this thread did not bother to look further than a cursory glance at the case to decide his guilt. As a quick refresher, it was never in dispute as to whether Bryant had sex with her, so DNA evidence against Bryant is moot. The interesting DNA evidence brought forward was the fact that another man's DNA was found in her panties. Obviously Fartwinkle did not follow this very closely as Rightfoot observed.

Kobe has little in common with T.O. other than the desire to be "the man" which is a pretty common trait among athletes. If Owens has an NBA comparison, it's someone like Sprewell or maybe Francis.
