The darkness of the German offensive against our beloved England wanes as the dawn approaches from the west. The Old World must “carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the Old."
My fellow members of the RAF, brave Englishmen, Members of the Commonwealth, the Eagles from America, and our brothers from the continent who fight on despite the brutal occupation of their homelands, we must do more than defend our shores. The Hun horde continually lurks at high altitude ever pushing against our shores. We must drive them back and show the brave citizens of the occupied countries that the fight against the Axis continues.
The time has come for us to take the fight to the enemy. I encourage you to adopt the following strategies and tactics.
CIRCUS: A fighter sweep over enemy territory, particularly airfields to draw the fighters into battle.
RANGER: Similar to Circus but usually a deep penetration operation.
RHUBARB: Low-level tactical operation from cloud cover.
RAMROD: A tactical bombing mission with fighter escort.
RODEO: A general fighter sweep over occupied territory.
Take the fight to the enemy. Keep them off balance, do not allow them to withdraw units to reinforce their unjust war against our mighty Russian Allies or against our own forces in the Mediterranean.
