Thanks bud,

You get the jeep fixed?  I'm working on getting a soft top for mine.  It sucks cause I need EVERYTHING for it.  Buying off of ebay its about $170 for the hardware (NEW) $75 for misc hardware.  another $100 for the upper doors.  and anyhwere from $125 to $250 for a used top depending on the condition of the windows, color, and fabric.

With no A/C my hardtop (wich is warped and on it's last legg) isn't going to cut it in San Antonio Texas.

Not really the same, depending on the brand.  Some work with OEM hardware, some use their own spreaders working with SOME OEM hardware.  A few of the 87s still used snaps depending on wich top you had.  Mine's a 93 so some of the earlier models wont work.

I've been looking on Ebay mostly and found it's cheaper to buy everything seperately.  I might end up buying a color I don't want and then just dye or paint the sucker, who knows.  I have to close on my home loan first though.

GTO,

I just got off the phone with quadratec and ordered a "supertop" they claim it comes with EVERYTHING.

Got the tinted windows and a 10% discount.  All together it was $640 shipped.

Was thinking about getting one of these but the wife wouldn't go for it.

I can probably make about $200 selling my hardtop and the upper doors.

PS thanks for the email, will try it tonight.
