Remember Art Model taking moving trucks into Cleveland and packing the team up, moving out, and to Balitmore?

Yep, its actually the Baltimore Browns vs the New Jersy Giants...but don't tell that to a Cleveland fan.

Rip, I remember the moving trucks. They left Baltimore in the middle of the night with all the Colts gear in 'em, headed for Indy.

Go Ravens

Ravens, baby!

They've shut down two offenses more potent than the Giant's.  The game will be low scoring, and the Raven's offense will only need to score a touchdown for them to win the game.

I dunno, I think that ol Trent dilfer will have a sprained finger by game time from waving to all his old Tampa fans.    So Ill just have to go with Da Bears!

I HOPE the Ravens lose badly.   I don't want to have to put up with the whining which will prevail if they win.  Where I live (Northeast Ohio), the word Model conjures up images of a lying, backstabbing pig wearing a bad suit.  (Personally, I have no problems with the guy, but don't tell anyone.)

However, IF I was the gambling type, I would put my money on them.

I think the Ravens are going to win, but if I was a betting man, I'd put it on the Giants.

Note: I've picked 10 straight superbowl winners, only because I DIDN'T bet money...Murphy's law.

Now its 11 straight, but that's why I don't bet on the games, if I did, I would lose.

Congrats Raven <S>

Only in America can you go from double murder trial to MVP of SuperBowl

Something about black football players and murder .. they seem to get away with it.... double homicides at that.

Well, not a big Ravens supporter here, but, in defense, if he did commit the murder, he would probably have been in jail rather than getting an MVP trophy...I believe he was in the wrong place at the wrong time that evening..

Uh Rip I'm afraid we have a habit of keeping our Superstars out of jail.

How many players have been caught with Hookers doing drugs and get away with it?(any Dallas fans know this one?)How many get caught drunk driving and get away with it? How many Kill their wife and wife's boyfriend and get away with it?

This is something that has been going on for a looong time and is not likely to end anytime soon.

What a thing to teach our kids.
I have been reborn a new man!

You've got a point, Mighty, and one of the reasons I focus my sons thoughts around history rather than sports...1 in 5 NFL players have some sort of felony conviction, or have been brought up on charges of a felony...not a good stat indeed, but in a world of greed, where owners will do anything to win, including cheating (See San Franciso)..the competition to get the best is fierce to say the least...call it a by-product of greed if you will.
