From an old thread, you mentioned you like hunting with a 22. 250. What do you  own? I've got an old one, old meaning my dad bought it 40 years ago and he gave it to me 10 years ago along with various others. I'm almost positive its a remington.

Being as old as it is, its in real good shape. I'll upload a picture when I decide not to be lazy and get it out of the gunsafe. It's a bolt action with a 5 round clip I believe, may be wrong.

Oh, and now that I think about it. I dunno if my eyes are dieing on me or if the scope is just old and worn out. But, I notice when Im looking down the scope the crosshairs will fade in and out. Pretty sure its not my eyes, I wear contacts but it could well be my eyes.

A guy up North here in Michigan uses the 22-250.  He gets 4-5 deer a year.  All head shots.  Watched him shoot one in a dead run, 200 yards, dropped dead.

Huh, seems to be a popular rifle. A buddy of mine swears by it too. Biggest thing I've killed with it is coyotes. Actually, the smallest rifle I've ever bagged a dear with is a 243. Usually I use a 7mm 08.

I've always enjoyed fishing more than hunting, but I enjoy both.

BOOM HEADSHOT!  Anytime I get a gun in my hand it just automatically points to somebodies head!
