PC Gamer mag. WW2 issue
« on: January 20, 2001, 01:10:00 PM »
I happenned to be waiting around the drugstore for a prescription (Awright, knock off the ridlin jokes, my wife has a cold) when, after checkin the magazine stand for, um, 'interesting' reading material (hehe) I noticed the latest PC Gamer had a big "WORLD WAR 2.0" plastered across the front, supposedly covering a plethora of PC games set in or about WW2.

Well, lemme tell ya. Absolutely no mention of AH, WB's, FA, AW, MSCFS 1 or 2 or even IL-2, even thought the article touted itself as being about new or upcoming games. The only things even close to flight sims were WW2OL , B17-II & BoB. I wouldn't have been as annoyed if the article hadn't used such filler as mentioning mods. for games like Unreal Tournament & Rogue Spear & even Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

Sorry, just wanted to vent about what I consider to be unwarranted ignorance of the subject covered.

& yes, I already wrote them.

Fishu, sorry dude, I didn't intend to demean your contribution to the gaming community. WTG from me. I was just trying to express what I felt was a lack of coverage otherwise.
