The Rose Bowl was a much better and more entertaining game by far.

Toilet bowl is always the winner. Never lets you down (unless the missus has stuffed her junk in there). Its there every morning after yer coffe and no ads or bad bands serve you crappy music between the splashes.

Watching it is not nearly as much fun as sitting on it. You can play with the boats later, but the paper would prolly get in the way.

just about any of the college bowl games were better than the super bowl

one is playing for the chance at getting fame and fortune while the other is playing wondering how he or his wife is spending his millions...

Yah Eagler, superbowls are far over hyped for what they really are now imo. Gazillions of people watch them that dont watch football all season long. lol. Why? Maybe its to see the horrible half time shows?

College kids play harder because they want what the pro's have. They have something to prove and it always makes for better games.

Probably if I had a school that was my favorite, or better yet went to one, Id like college football. But there are just too many teams to keep track of and I hate the ranking system.

As far as the superbowl goes, I think its more of a social event now. It gives the wives who normally dont watch the games, a chance to mingle with other wives and make fun football food. Plus the commercials are always looked forward to, and there is always a glimmer of hope the 1/2time show will be ok.

The people who normally dont watch football during the season but do on superbowl sunday dont bother me half as much as the guy who wants the score to be a certain number so he wins the pool, regardless who wins. Yuck.

ROSE BOWL by a ton. As a Texan and a HUGE TEXAS fan , it was awsome.

College players play hard to win , and get someplace. Pro's are there and don't give a crap IMO. Signing bonuses of millions and making millions, and all they want is things to be about them.

In the pros...there is an "I" in team.

Rose bowl by far.

Superbowl was to me just boring. The big plays werent in numbers, the officials were horrible making some really bad calls, halftime show was just down right bad, and just overrall boring. (dont like either teams so Im neutral so dont say I favor one over the other as I like St.Louis)

Rose bowl had numberous big plays on both sides, was somewhat of what I like which is an ol' fashioned shootout, and the defenses on both sides didnt do to bad.
