I am currently trying to make heads or tails of how to hook up my front panel LEDs and such to my MB. Am I correct in thinking that the white wires are the ground (evey connector has a different color wire to the pair.. but each has a white wire)? I'm working with a CoolerMaster case.

check the connectors for labeling , should be abbreviated.

You had it right bronk... 1 connect outta the bunch had a + and a - to reference.

"TFmotherboardM" should have the wiring instructions. Either way, you got it fixed.

All is well, the problem wasn't the MB booklet (three cheers for ASUS). The case didn't have very good documentation/labeling.

Look at the manual - it usually has the "+" for every front-panel LED connector. "+" is usually a coloured wire. Anyway, you can start up your system with an open case and check LED polarity "on the fly".

white is generaly ground. color is generaly hot wire. generaly speaking of course.

Just saw this, sorry for the late reply.

In general, unless the case is new, I'd note how the cables went IN before you pulled them OUT. Digital camera helps loads in this case. Just a general tip for those with similar problems.
