The muslim _fundamentalists_ are always looking for an excuse. Extremists always look for an excuse or don't really need one at all.

The majority of the moderate muslims may perhaps be offended, but thats it. They don't do anyting about it.

I agree, and don't give two ****s about what some editor is doing.

It would be a very bad thing for your government to do do.

I just think it was a sad thing for the editor to do, but I am not in his shoes getting death threats from nut jobs who very well might do it.

Still when you are right, you say **** off to the wackos, not sorry for upsetting you.

We should keep giving them every excuse we can, so they will keep showing the world how lame they are.

Then maybe at some point the "mainstream" Muslims will get rid of them, or the rest of the world will.

No one in the government has apologised or will ever do so.
If they did they would not survive the next election, and would prolly have to leave office even before that.

(translation of the apology)

"As you may be aware, polls in Norway have shown that the most people believe a terrorist attack is immenent and we wish to apologize to hopefully decrease that risk.

In the future, all civilized countries will refrain from mocking the Muslim religion in fear of violent reprisals... you have won and we shall remove any freedoms of speech as they relate to mocking the Muslim religion.

Off-topic, we may be able to have our spines replaced with something that doesn't have the consistency of jello."

My apologies to anyone from Norway... you're a good people, I'm just surprised that the newspaper is bowing to terror.

He may have realised his stupidity, or maybe he fears for his life. Sometimes it may be wise to swallow a few camels :D

He did say he aplogised for printing something that may have offended other peoples belifs, but he did not apologise for using his freedom of speach. There is a difference, but maybe one the offended party may not care about.

Looks like we have a lot more supporters for flag burning as freedom of speech.

Gutless. or a tongue in cheek political move

Take your pick
Death is no easy answer
For those who wish to know
Ask those who have been before you
What fate the future holds
It ain't pretty

I'm all for those who want to excercise their freedom of speech.  But don't excercise that on my property. Then I'll excercise my trespassing rights, and beat them off my property. :)  I've got a Louisville Slugger signed by the best DH in baseball history just for that job. :D

God Bless America (Because we certainly know the liberals won't)

On their website (http://www.shopmetrospy.com/), MetroSpy denounces the tactics of Islamic extremists and encourages its customers to stand up against terrorism. "Failing to print these images mean the terrorists have won", the site says.
