Custom gunsites
« on: February 15, 2006, 09:46:42 PM »
So I got this fancy new rig and I'm re-installing all of the custom skins, sounds, and whatnot, and I go to re-install the historical gunsites and lo and behold the link on HTC under the Downloads section no longer has the link to the historical gunsites like it used to so now I'm sitting here with a dual-processor monster gaming rig and I'm all jazzed up to fly but I refuse to fly with stock gunsites so somebody out there has to have that executable on a page somewhere so I can download and install before I explode so reply with the link or I'll go beserk and you don't want that because I'm so hopped up that I'm writing one long run-on sentence and if I can't fly tonight, well, it won't be pretty that's all!

Or I could go with Plan B and fire up the old machine, email the files to my new machine, and re-install the directory.

Ever heard of something new and radical they have called a "network"?

Email works if thats all you can do. :)

But if you had a dual-processor rig fresh out of the box, which would you rather do: a) play, baby, play! or b) set up email and do real work.

Looks like I may just go with Plan C: rip the hd out of the old PC and install it as a second drive in the new PC, then just copy the files over onto the new AH directory.

I flew a couple of P51 trips last night.  Fancy new processors don't help my ACM decision-making process a bit.  But at least the screen is prettier when I'm going down!
