How about some more targets to strafe.  Like parked planes along the airfield perimeters or on the tarmac.  These could be part of the "attack" points.

yea and when yuo kill all the strafable targets the LA7s and Spit16s go bye bye at that field

You can place planes on the ground in the terrain editor when creating the map.

HUGE hit on frame rates.
