No accountability except for the logs that record every single thing. I'm guessing HTC knows who their mods are, and deal with problems as they arise.
There are certainly instances of abuse (or at least, there have been in the past), but they seem to be growing fewer. HT says they're working on the issue, and that's great. While I personally would like to see a lot more muting, on a regular basis, I would hardly describe it as a secret police state rife with abuse (while posting with a shades bbs account because I don't want anyone to know who I am ingame).
Glasses, you just type too damned much. You get muted because you never shut up. You're lucky I'm not a mod.
