When I log in, I always check the numbers and go to the side that has the lowest.  Unless I'm going as cannon fodder in a bomber for some of Filth's bombing missions.

The LW side is always happy to see me, especially Storch (because he knows that he is safe from my superior flying abilities :) ).

Actually I suck at this game but have fun anyway.

It's 5 or 6 AM there when we're in primetime here. Get a clue stink.

Ever notice how mediocre pilots do more fighting on the BBS than in the game:rolleyes:

Kong you monkey brain, your memory is bad as them primates.  Just few weeks ago they were posting how they were dominating the AVA .  I just haven't seen them since or their domination.

Actually, Kong is right. It would be the morning hours in Latvia, when it is the prime time somewhere else in the world. But I haven't seen any Latvian squads, though...

Could be a quirk in timing, but . . .

My impressions have been a lot of different Allied flyers on who were no where to be seen when it was only Spit 1s and etc.  Now that the "favorite rides" are in the AVA, just seems more (different) people flying allieds.  And those that are flying are doing so with confidence and an aggressiveness that just wasn't there earlier.

Example, I personally didn't see (or maybe didn't notice) the 78th very much early on . . . saw them plenty last time I was on (at 41-14 odds).  The axis "domination" that occurred earlier may never have occurred had such folks been on then in the numbers they seem to be more recently.

Now, did they really wait until the 51 was available to show up en mass?  Or was it just perception / timing quirk on my part?

880 FAA flew LW last night to help the numbers as did many other pilots when the imbalance was recognized.   Note the term I used and I hope maybe a few people will learn a thing or two from it.  Ask politely on ch200 and I am certain you will get a favorable response.

Where the heel do some of you lose sight of the fact that we play this game to have fun???

Oh yeah and Oldman, stop making mention of the Squadrons this isn't the kind of publicity we need.  :D

Squadrons are good, more would be nice, especially one or two more Axis squads.

We've been there every Tuesday , and Thursday, flying Allied no matter what the ride. In fact even before it was the AvA. We've flown more Spit I , and P-47 missions then anything else on squad nights. We dropped the Spits and Hurris as soon as the P-47 came out. So your theory that  we are responsable for the numbers inbalance, or  we didnt show until the P-51 came out doesn't hold water. If you havent seen us it may be due to fact we fly in this arena only. Or that JG54 was killing us off a lot more earlier on. There seems to be more targets for them now.

That's why I qualified it as a possible quirk of timing.  Should have added bad memory.  Either way, wasn't meant as a dig . . . hope you didn't take it as such.  Also didn't intend to imply it was "all your fault", although now that I re-read what I wrote I can see how it sounded that way.

That was really the point I was trying to make.  Seemed to be lots more allied than before.  Thought additional squads might have had something to do with it.  Some squads in the MA only fly certain planes, so I thought it was possible some additional squads came on because their "ride" is always the 51d or 47 or something.

I didn't know if that was the case for you guys or not, so thought I would ask.  Thanks for the answer!

The more that A vs A discussion becomes centered on squads, vulching and alt-monkeys, the less the differences are from CT-- 41 agin 14 isn't gonna bring in a lotta people

Well one thing for certain. I'll keep an eye on numbers more now. Like I said in an earlier part of the thread. I didnt notice the numbers were out of whack.  Maybe because I logged on late and was rushed to get us going. Plus we were being intercepted before we could get to where the map showed the fight to be.
I wouldn't like being on the recieving end of a 41 to 14 tidal wave myself.
I'll do what I can in the future to help out. We've struggled through this setup until just recently. Theres no use in denying the fact JG54 has cleaned our clocks a number of times, since we started this squad in the old CT in November.
After they lay a few hurtins on you, it doesn't enter your mind  that they may be struggling , on the other side with numbers or anything else.

I understand OMs point that squads should try not to overwhelm the place with numbers. I'll try and follow the Gunfighters, and 880 FAA's example. I also understand how you may not have noticed us with our less then stellar performance thus far. We're working on it.
