ok firstly, spits aren't 'dweeby'. its a name given to em by guys who get their arse handed to em expecting the spit pilot to be new. when you get killed you automatically think it's dweeby cause it killed you.

and second, and this is funny. the spit16 IS tuned down! normally it had 21lbs of boost, and at 150 octane fuel, which it DID use it worked at 25lbs of boost. it doesnt need to be tuned down, it needs to be tuned up and given the proper canopy. then all you guys will have something to whine about. and if people keep crying about it, and it does get perked, i would certainly expect HT to put it back to its proper uberness

Nothing a Tempest cant handle. Spit16 isnt all that bad. I think its overmodled for sure, but oh well. I fly it sometimes..its fun.

Arguing over which cartoon airplane makes you more manly, and which is too dweeby, is dweeby.

And, if I'm not mistaken, the spit has half the firepower, engine, and tail surfaces of a P38. Presuming your statement has some sort of basis in fact, or is even remotely accurate, we can deduce that the P38, with twice the engines, and twice the rudders, and many times the ordnance load, fuel load, and range, is horribly overmodelled, and absolutely has to be tuned down to a value I define as reasonable.

I upped this morning in a Yak and died (a few times) then I got mad and took up a La7....died some more! after 10 deaths in a row I rolled out a spit 16....got 3 kills and landed
