If you wanna jump on the BB's and complain about our squad be my guest, but you'll prob be making a fool of yourself. You call my guys LTARD's and they will bury ya.

On a little side note to answer Rabidrabbit, you're right about we don't give up and we always try to provide a "fun" fight, but to say WE do the "gamey" thing?  I think you bumbed your head. You wanna see "gamey" go watch Fortress in bombers.

Not true, firstly it wasn't that many circles (watch the film) and I was gaining energy very nicely, managing my E with the intention of converting it into angles for the kill, and it was working perfectly.

I'm sure that this is a mistake to do but with no other option, this is all I could do. I'm also sure that a more experienced pilot wouldnt have put his self in this situation.

Yep, you were out of energy, out of options, and when you reached into your clue bag, that was empty too... lol.

I dont know what you hope to gain by bashing me or another pilot in here for that matter.

Well go back and read your original post, you came in here stating that you and Zaphod had killed me, and I was afraid to fight you, and that I then went looking for trouble with the LTARDS. You were wrong on every point.

Quote
I saluted you for the kill, of which you never saluted me for the 3 times I killed you.

That's because you didn't kill me 3 times, it was only 2 and one of those was when I hit a tree that jumped in front of me :)  But I have all the films and the 5 times I killed you were all amusing considering how you came into this thread.

On a different note though you have the same atitude and flying style as the flier "BADBOY"

Never seen him, or even heard of him, but if you want to start a conspiracy theory, you could at least mistake me for someone good!

Anyway, next time, try to at least get your facts straight!

badboy is one of the few people in this game that really is an ace. he isnt as good with turnfighting otd as some others, but his energy management and his flying in general is among the best in the game. better than you i would dare to say

in our fights yesterday, with a little less e than you, i was still able to keep my guns pointed in your direction, although i stalled before i could get any solid hits. badboy combines that kind of e management with ACM's, so i find it very difficult to stick with him

<----  Not going to bite the hook on this troll...  3 kills this tour in 32 minutes and single-digit posts on the BBS....  Now, I don't want to insinuate a shade account , but man, this sure stinks like one...

On a side note...  I saw someone in the DA last nite with the squad name "LTARD Killer".  I don't know if this was our man gunzo, but if it was, that would be enough to tick me off if I was an LTAR.  No dice here...

Gunzo,

If your question is about rules in the DA, the answer is, yes there can be rules against others.  You just need to communicate with them and ask and read any messages as you come into the arena.  If you want no rules, go to the MA.

If you intent is to show others how well you can turn in a spitfire, yes you do this well.  What is working is you are getting them into a low stall fight.  You are pulling less Gs then your opponent letting him get near a guns solution.  This makes him try to pull a bit harder, burning more E then you.  IF you wait them out, you will make the kill or make them auger.  This method works better with a little intimidation.  If you can get them mad at you, they try harder only to be taken into your trap.  Well done.

If you are new, there are 50 other planes to learn and the spitfire is only one.  This method will not work as well against other aircraft, so expand you skills by learning other ways of fighting.  You can play this game and make friends at the same time with other styles of flying.

Rod, I think you have my guys confused with another squad or group. We just recently started going to the TA & DA to train and practice. I have talked to every single guy in my squad (except one, he's on vacation) and they all said the same thing....what????  If what you state is true I'd love to see some film or some names. If it were any of my guys then they have my boot comin'.

Ok, yesterday I turned up in the DA again and was having fun in an F4U1 and I was duelling with Spits and Ki84s etc and I duelled and shot down a guy called airvent. Now killing Spits in an F4U1 in a slow turnfight is a lot of fun, but airvent didn't like it and so we went to another field where he insisted on flying the SpitV. That was cool, but I've never flow the SpitV before so it took a couple of fights before I got the feel of it.

While we were fighting a guy called Dedalos turned up and so the three of us went at it... A lot of fun was had by everyone accept airvent, because after I killed him a several times in a row he refused to fight me anymore. He wouldn't even talk to me. I guess he was just sulking.

Anyway, here is the good part!!

Similar thing as the other two films happened against Dedalos, but this time the fight was mostly vertical. At the merge was faster than me, so he started with an energy advantage, but he just plumb turned himself out of energy, while I used mine wisely. Once he saw I was all over his six and would soon have a shot, he decided to try and leave the fight... The end of this fight is exactly the same as the others posted so far.

Ok maybe this will show you what I've got. I notice in that "best pilot in AH" thread the guy in this next film gets mentioned several times.

These are fights that took place yesterday and they ain't no energy fights... These fights are more like a knife fight in a phone booth... we get down and dirty, the kills are quick and clean!

Enjoy

like slash, i too smell BS, gunzo, you havent spoken on vox, and you know more than most people about dogfighting, and all that with 9 posts and very little MA time, combined with the fact i have never seen you before makes it obvious that you are a shade account.

whether you have a shade account because of being away from the game and you deleted your account, or whether it's that you are trying to annoy people, you are digging your own grave here, arguing with everyone

In that case I'm better than him, check out the films in the Turnsondeck.zip file to see that I'm not just good with energy, I can shift the nose around quick too when I need to.

Pooface, correct me if I'm wrong, but I watched you fighting airvent and dedalos yesterday and they were using you for target practice. When I flew against you I don't recall taking a single hit while killing you a couple of times. Then I killed both of them several times each while we were all fighting in SpitVs, good hard knife fights.

Letting you ALMOST get a shot is the whole point :)

Talking of graves, I left you in a smoking hole in the ground a couple of times yesterday, before some real competition turned up. You were probably the easiest kills of the day.. lol.

Nope, re-read the post... This time read slowly... Only airvent refused to fight after getting killed several times in a row. Dedalos continued to fight until I had to log.
