So there I was watching TV when I see a commercial for some newfangled flight sim named "Aces High".  My wife comments "that looks pretty cool".  I point out, since she wasn't around back then, that I used to be huge into flight sims "back in the day", and joke that people I knew probably designed Aces High. So off to the website I go, and here's all these old names I so fondly remember. Sigh.

I did a search on Musketeers and saw posts from people I haven't talked to in almost 10 years.

It's great to see that so many of you are still around and still in touch with each other. When my first marriage started breaking down (divorced 1999) I had to call it quits, but I sure miss those days in both AW and Warbirds.  Houston 96 was a blast.  I still have pics of some of you ugly mugs! :)

Anyhoo, great to see all the familiar names and old friends!

Hitech and Pyro, looks like you have a great product on your hands. I wouldn't expect anything less from you guys.

One Musketeer I can think of offhand is Eagler....  Actually, he's the only one I can remember from such a squadron here in AH.

But as Pooface said, welcome! - I haven't been around in AW or WB, I started in AH in 2002...

HR!

I went through the thread and it felt like stepping into a time machine.  I also found a bunch of old AW/CK/WB pages, and even an old AW roster.  Found a bunch of stuff from French that brought back memories of the -trainer- days.  I found Dok's page and relived the old scenarios. Fun times.

It was sort of sad to read the "history of flight sims" page. I was around  right up until the Wild Bill thing...it sure took a turn after that it seems.  The early days of CK were the best.  It really felt like we were part of a revolution in gaming.

Great to see Vortex still around, even if he is still Canadian. :lol

I always wondered what happened to Crash.

Great to see B-Man!

So many others. Feels like a class reunion.

Not sure if I'll be back.  I'd have to go build myself a cockpit again.  Living next door to Thrustmaster had it's privileges!
