Racing is fun
« on: February 26, 2006, 11:28:07 PM »
We all knew that ... but since I'm having fun with GT Legends ($20), I took some ingame footage to share with others AH online racers.

With

... a Vette for Savage
... and Alpha for Funked
... and a big fat slick tired 1976 monster for Indy.

Hard to believe that track is only a "WIP".

I never liked GT4, I was extremely disapointed with the driving model. I prefered Forza as a console game.

I'm fairly impressed with GTL. The game has it's flaws, like everyone else, but the driving is a lot of fun. You can feel being in the car, with it's strenght and weacknesses.

The alpha race was online, as well has the Falcon race and the Beemer.

NUR was imported from GTR I think. I was quite impressed by it's fairly accurate represenation. I haven't put my hands on the 906 yet. I love the car, but I spent most of my time with the 65s. The 76s provide less driving excitment to me, even if they are much faster. So far I run in 9:20s with the 400HP CLS, I saw 8:30s with the 906/Capri/Pantera.

BTW, in LFS, first OWRL season race is on Saturday.

Best $20 I spent since my first crack ho.

I have that game too! I bought the Logitech FF MOMO wheel just for it. It's freakin awesome. I haven't tried online yet, does it work well? I only have about 9 cars in my garage though :) I'll have to try the online racing ASAP.

PS. MrRipley, heard of Daemon Tools? No disc necassary.

Send me an email at bigradial@hotmail.com, I'll send u the file to unlock all the cars. Race humans, not AIs ;) I'll do a lil AH cup in a week or two, depending on how my work goes (we might be shut down).
