what did the Swiss fly during WW2? They must have something.

If I recall correctly, both the Swedes and the Swiss were using 109s at the time (purchased from Germany).  I recall an article interviewing a pilot of a B-17 that got damaged over Germany during a raid.  They couldn't make it back to England, so they diverted to neutral Switzerland -- and were "escorted" to their ditch site by Swiss 109s.  Less certain on the Swedish side.

there are several cases of swiss aircraft shooting down planes that drifted into their airspace and couldnt talk their way out of being shot down. several fighters of various countries (and if im not mistaken, one B-17) were lost this way.

LW lost a 109 to Swiss 109s.
