G L Rod.
I am on Coumadin for the rest of my life. I was on it for 6 months & had a doppler scan that revealed that my dvt was still there & prolly always will be. I had one a year later & it's still there. When I play AH too long my leg swells up like I have elephantitus  I have to go lay down & prop it up for awhile. Sometimes I even have to wear my support man t hose.  :lol

I hope you get well soon sir.

 PS Rod

What caused the dvt? I had a torn ACL & got my dvt from the surgery I guess.

 ok enough acronyms already.:D

We believe it was last ice storm michiagan had in feb. I went out thru garage fell on my fat Arse and hurt my legs and fatarse. I do have problems with legs not working from tumor on my spine. so i don't move as much as i should, but thinking the fall that had my left leg colapse under me my be reason why.  My Doc said he has seen as young as 6 yearold get DVT from a injury to his leg playing peewee soccer and a  kid kicked him in his leg right behind his knee. What should be said is if LEG SWELLS AND HURTS BELOW CALF AND IT DOESN'T GET BETTER IN 2DAYS GET TO DOCTORS. It may save your life.
