Hi. After a disk format in a complete new and clean pc AH cant connect when at the same time i can connect to internet.
( i write from the same pc). What can i do ? hands up

I need help.
( no firewall )

Does the connection fail during the login or after, when you select an arena?

If it fails after the login, and you an get to our WEB page, then something is blocking the game from authenticating as the WEB server is the same server used for authentication.

If you cannot connect to the arena, try another arena and see what happens.

It fails during the login. I am on adsl behind a router lan connection,
internet works just fine.
But during login i cant connect to host AH. Like if there is not Internet connection.

There is a good chance the router has a firewall in it and it is preventing the connection then. Easy way to test it, is to by-pass the router (unless the DSL modem and router are one unit) and see if it works.

Its one unit, and firewall @ router is disabled.

Before 2 days was working fine and no changes on router settings.
Just on pc hd format.

at cmd ping i see the MA server with normal as usual pings. And other arenas.

the same from router web interface, i can ping MA and the other arenas,

but still AH cant connect on login. Strange.

Problem solved. I dont know how, but maybe because it was an older version
2051.exe.
I downloaded the newer version 2061 and works fine.
Still not sure it this was the problem:rolleyes:
