are progressing I'll be long dead before they are finished :) Ironically the
communist Chinese have an intact P-61 in one of their museums, left
behind by the 14th AF after the war.  They have refused offers to buy it

D4Y Judy "replaced" the Val. I THOUGHT the Jill was the B5N's replacement (and neither of them were any better than D3A or B5N, IIRC).
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.
