Um?

Battlefield 1942? Is that the measure of a strategy game?

It's rather arcade style game play really doesn't apply here.

As it turns out, ships are slow as compared to aircraft and ground vehicles. And the AH model works in that context... If you want a fast boat, drive a PT... But at the end of the day... Its Aces High... Not Aces of the Deep.

In Aces High you can command a whole fleet if you are competent. But that fleet will move at the speed which a fleet moves. Sorry that you've decided that Battlefield 1942 is some kind of accurate model... 'Cuz... well... It ain't.

Fleets move at the pace of a fleet, and that's if they ran full steam ahead the whole time in real life.

The game's called 'Aces High' - so it would be nice to include more 'Targets Low' please...  ;)
Here we are, living on top of a molten ball of rock, spinning around at a 1,000mph, orbiting a nuclear fireball and whizzing through space at half-a-million miles per hour. Most of us believe in super-beings which for some reason need to be praised for setting this up. This, apparently, is normal.

yeah, i would love to take a destroyer out. just like a large bomber on the water, but have torps instead of bombs, and have all the guns instead of gunner positions. would be great fun:aok

lmao BF1942 a SIMULATION I meen BF2 is Suppoesed to be more realistic well the one for PS2 has Little Circles over everyones head so I feel deeply sorry if you find BF1942 or ANY of the BF series realistic. The most realistic shoot em up game is Joint Ops which you actually have to lead your targets or where a 50 cal can shoot a mile way and kill somone. Also, they actually let you have correct distances to shoot from and bullet drop. Not like the SOCOM series where you can barely see 120 meters with a 12X scope on a clear day or where they have pin point acc while Sprinting firing from the hip. So what next....TROOP wars where you can be a WW2 soldier and become an 1337 sharpshooter and say I PWN YOU ALL I meen when will people realize this is a WW2 AIRCRAFT Simulation game and not Counter Strike!!!!!!!ALSO USE THE SEARCH BUTTON READ WHAT PEOPLE SAY AND USE COMMON SENSE!

I am a yung gun (14yrs) but man people have common sense and don't think we will turn this game into a CS...CS=garbage.
