nothing at all but I want something with at least a 4" barrel and with the capacity to make large wound channels. my .357s, a ruger security 6 which I don't want to risk getting stolen in a vehicle for sentimental reasons and a taurus 651 2" which is my pocket gun.
Isn't .357mag still the king of one shot stops?
It's been awhile since I've read anything on it, but iirc several years back when one of the gun mag editors was testing various rounds, the 125gr Federal .357mag was top dog, with .45ACP and .40S&W coming up next in line.
All that said, my carry gun was a Colt Goldcup in .45ACP.. and after I get around to getting my permit renewed I'll be carrying another 1911 in .45ACP.
