Each morning, the squadron CO ( or registered CO ) would receive an e-mail with a file attachment containing the raw log data belonging to registered members of their squad from the previous day.
This data could then be parsed into meaningful reports that could be used to compose AARs, tally kill totals, database updates, kill list.. 'Most Wanted' ( Who shows up as having killed the most of the squaddies.. then putting a bounty on their heads.. rewards for killing them.. etc ) run locally on the CO's machine ( or whoever he/she forwards the file to ).
The possibilities of generating goals and objectives could be impressive.
You could maintain a player database that tracks all the neat data we have now, but at the squadron level. Very easy to pick out the performers and razz the slackards..
Hmm.. so-and-so got killed by drone?? Extra goon duty for him this month! The AH community contains many programmers that would probably jump at the chance to code up some macros and squad management packages that would give the Squad CO some real ammunition to enhance the game-participation aspect.
The logs received could be selected by the CO ( MA, DA, TA, AvA.. etc, as they so desire ) and have them e-mailed automatically every day.
Restrictions: Logs would only be available to the registered squad COs for their own members. You would not be able to receive the logs of players not in your squad.
Personal logs could be sent to their owners, however.
Just thinking outside the box a smidge..
