Leopard geckos come from pakistan/india, and are more of a desert dweller....they'll eat mostly crickets, but also mealworms, roaches, etc...they are the only type of gecko that dont have sticky pads on their feet, so they can't climb walls like all the other geckos. Their poop looks like a birds (thanks for asking Enduro
), but not too stinky. They also only grow to about 8-10 inches, and pretty easy to take care of.
My gf also has an Iguana, much harder to take care of. They are from southern mexico/south america, tropical parts, so his cage has to be hot & humid. Those suckers can get up to 6-8 feet long, & they love whipping their tails at anyone.
