If diving ability is about avoiding compression, the Spit also belongs on the list.

It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

The Yak-9s have cockpit visibility by a good margin.
Fuel range somebody said "F4U" and that is flat wrong. The P-47N, P-51 and Mosquito have the best fuel range.
