can someone find out what airspeed would be needed to put a fire out.

In a different game you can dive to about 500/550 mph  flick the throttle and the fire goes out  then restart,

suppose it depends where the fire actually is and what material is burning.

That's a good question, I'll have a look at it!

There are stories of B-17's diving to put out fire, I doubt they'd go faster than 350mph though, since the airframe might crack at that speed!
