Tornado outbreak in Missouri

Listening online about a big tornado outbreak going on in central Missouri. Anyone in that area, hope you get through it OK. The storms will be here maybe less then 5 hours, so hopefully they will weaken

We've had grass fires all around the pandhandle here today. And coupled with 50-60 mph winds doesnt help matters.

Meatwad, I heard reports that the heaviest rain and some bad storms were about 100 miles east of St Louis in Illinois.  I have family in Mt Vernon  and West Frankfort.  I cant get in touch with anyone and I'm kinda worried.  Do you know what towns in Illinois were hit?  I cant find anything but Missouri for damage reports.

West frankfort just had some rain, and Mt Vernon had very heavy rain and a little hail. The tornado was pretty much in perry county IL where it did some damage. It lifted before it got anywhere near Mt vernon so they didnt get any damage except for some flooding here and there

If they don't, they won't be posting to update you... :huh

My Brother-in-law in Missouri whom I called yesterday afternoon, said the clouds were green and ugly looking...he was on "watch".
