Okay, here is an idea which has been flown around the park a few times in the past. Why not add the JU-52 to the plane list. Yes it was a cargo, troop transport with guns, but it also was a bomber. Okay, so it is slow and not a great ceiling, but think about it. If you see one, you would not know if it was carrying troops, supplies or bombs. IT would add a lot, IMHO. It also could make it just a bit harder to be shot down with the MG's.

You could have the loadout in the hanger, as with all planes, but with the option of bombs in place of supplies or troops.

I wouldn't mind the ability to use it in scenarios, and the choice of goon transport, but as a plane I understand it'd be pretty pathetic.

I'd probably still use C47 most of the time, because C47 has WEP, has a 230mph top speed on deck, whereas the Ju52 top speed is about 150mph to 175mph or so (YES, you read that right). I might take that for a chance to use the single 7mm gun behind the cockpit!!

I know it is slow and I said so to start with. But to have the option would be nice. One thing about the 52 which is better than the C-47, it was stronger and could take a lot more damage and still fly. So with that, the GMs and the bomber option, I'd use it. By the way, the Stuka was slow too and it is used.

A PBY would be nice too. We have so many options for fighter, but they only have the one troop transport (other than GVs) and that just seems wrong some how. Even the C-46 would be another option.

hrm... PBY was never a troop transport. It picked folks up, didn't air drop them down.

TB3 was used as a paratroop delivery system. Wouldn't mind seeing it (it's huge slow, a sitting duck, but it has a few defensive guns!)

EDIT: It also carries bombs (as well as goons), you'd never know what it was carrying (allowing a fleet of them to hide the goon)

The PBY had defensive guns it sunk a lot ships although it was mainly used at night

One request at the time guys

Although it might the 2nd most requested aircraft after the B-29, I believe it would be a nice addition.
Players now have a choise; Speed or armement?

The 7mm's won't exactly scare off a fighter, but it might just deliver some damage, compared to the defenceless C-47
