Get a Volvo C70.  LITERALLY, seating for 4 adults and leg room (not "sports car leg room"), a retractable hardtop, and a Dynaudio sound system.  I may be getting this in 2007.

LOL :D

Actually the Corolla may not be a bad idea toronto, but it would have to be a stationwagon type.

The candidates within budget so far are Passat, Avensis, 307SW and maybe a Volvo. My dad swears to Mercedes but thats a car for old people and abit on the expencive side. The new 3 series BMW or perhaps an A4 would be my choise if we were to spend more than we really want to.

I must say that the weener wagon looked great :D

And the Corolla we get in Yurop is a hatchback... same happens with the Honda Civic, I don't think we get the "long rear" version of that either.

But in fact there's a wagonish version of the Corolla, the Corolla Verso:

The mags seem to like the new civic, although I personally find the new front end styling to be ugly.  Too much rake to the nose and the long window a-pillars block about 20 ft of road from your view.  But mechanically they seem to be pretty good.

Maybe a 2 yr old used civic?  The new accords aren't bad either.

Or a BMW 3 series...  330i is nice.  A friend of mine got a 330xi and he loves it.
Everyone I know, goes away, in the end.

A car is for me just a form of transportation, and not something I desire. I really dont care what it looks like as long as its reliable, comfortable and just enough space.

More on point, since this is NILSEN we're talking about, for some reason I imagine him driving one of these:

Seriously this time....I'd say go with a Volvo, especially if you want a wagon.
