i was wondering how i can put a signature thingie and one of those cool pictures next to my forum posts?

Click the USER CP button at the top left of your screen.

Then click Edit Options button for the avatar options
Click the Edit profile button for the sig options

go to user cp and either edit option or edit profile to change them. User CP is on the upper left corner.
