I remember being in North Myrtle Beach in both 1991 and 1994.  I was sitting on the beach watching A-10's go parallet to the Shore.   I believe they have since closed the Base.

A-10 is still my fav. plane.

Saw a Stealth Fighter fly into Peterson Friday.  Monday there were 4 aggressor F-18's sitting on the ramp.  Two Raptor's the week prior.

We always see C-17's, C-130's, some C-5's, F-16's, F-15's, F-18's, etc..  Boat loads of heli's and the president always lands here when he is in Colorado.
Kind of neat seeing all the cool hardware out here.

It use to be nothing but S3's and P3's here in Jax.

Now we get F18's and the F14's flew through..

I've even spotted a british tornando.

Get nothing special up in CT.  Will see pairs of a10s flying around about every week.

Pretty rare but see some planes from Massachusetts.  Anything that comes from Massachusetts see in flights of 4.  Seen flights of f15s and f16s.  Not great thing to remember but saw lots of f15s and f16s pass overhead on 9/11 headed to New York.

There was a odd time when walking in the neighborhood.  Saw a single f18 fly overhead.  Was probably about 1000 feet up.  Going very fast but not fast enough to break the sound barrier.  Looked up and saw and when looked back it was gone.  It was overhead for maybe 1-2 seconds at the most.  Not sure why but was heading east.

I live in southern CT, and I see military helicopters, military transports, and the occansional A10s fly by my house sometimes. I don't know how frequent it is elsewhere, but I would say i see at least 1 military aircraft 1 or 2 weeks. 80% of the time it is just a blackhawk or chinook, however.
