This means I dont have to prove who I am, just supply a few copies of various ID, sign the forms and choose how I'd like to get paid.

Once they get the forms, which I send out via FedEx tomarrow, the big mystery will be over in "about 2 weeks".

Thanks to the peeps who have kept an interest and asked, how would I spend a million bucks?.. although the chances are very real its just one of those things I will believe when I see.

I also found out that a few of my fathers albums are for sale on Amazon.com, he had 10 minutes of fame in the late 60s playing with then unknown bands like The Who. The lable cant find him, if he's dead I'm next in line for any royalties, maybe 20 years worth. The record company re-released 4 albums, check out "Stockholm 67 live" which is supposedly pretty good if you like that 60's sound.

I have yet to tell anyone I know in person... I really dont need North Hollywierd-ites at my door with sob stories about how they need $$. The suspense is torture

Sorry but yer father din't play for The Who.

BTW..I'm bittin!>>Been a long cold winter<<

Hmmm, so is it Michael or Mark, we seem to have a minor discrepancy here.

Congrats Marine and thanks for keeping us up to date.

To the doubters this is what he is talking about - it's quite real:

I'd get a fortress with 50 cal machine guns in bunkers on top and a barbed wire fence, it's meant to keep people out, not in, trust me:aok

Or maybe i'd move to Wyoming and get 1000 acres and set quonset huts and have a eutopia.    I don't know, good luck though Marine!

Wow, I didn't even know this.

He wasn't like King Prune star (punny huh), he was one of the band members that left Denver and went to Los Angeles... once in LA, according to family folklore, he went to do his own thing while contributing to whoever the new prunes were.

Over the years the band took on various members... long after pops had bailed. His claim to fame is that he was an OG prune playing with the band when they gained popularity...in Denver.

Apparently back in the day the prunes were running all over Colorado making a stink in the local rock scene.

However the hollywood rock scene was full of hot bands from all over the world, Colorado coolness did not apply much as you still had to make all new fans. They had a sound that appealed to enough folks to rate recording a few albums and had them opening for bands like The Who... keep in mind we're talking mid-late 60's when they jammed in some Hollywood club where they were probably 1 of 5 opening bands... dad never played the Rose Bowl.. he had 6 minutes of prune fame 40 years ago.
