HT, well done.
I think you'll be hearing a lot of whining in the next couple days because a lot of ez-mode planes ain't so easy no more. But the new FM changes help level the playing field in terms of uberness. Some folks will need to adapt new tactics because the 207 FM feels much more forgiving in the vertical than the horizontal.
The P51's and Spits require a gentler touch than in 206 (hence my prediction about whines). P47's will become more competitive I wager.
I like the new stall code. Sustained turn rate will become as important to people as instantaneous - which ain't the case up til now.
109 flaps don't seem to deploy any different than before (but I'm no judge, I rarely flew the 109) but the overall handling feels pretty good now. The 109's feel pretty responsive. In the 207 FM, I don't see the 109 hurt by flap deployment speed as much.
The 190's seem to have gotten some acceleration back and the A5 feels underpowered compared to the A8. Which is probably right. The A8 feels pretty good, it can prop-hang like we've read about so it can play in the vertical now with the Spits.
The new B17 is gorgeous. Handles nice too - just makes we want to load up gunners and vultch fields at twilight.
Shall we start a pool on how long til the first NASCAR skin for the Jeep?
