Well we seem to have some flight charactoristics to fix here
« on: March 22, 2006, 01:45:12 PM »
Well we seem to have some flight charactoristics to fix here.....I am a luftwobble pilot mostly.  The 262 has well some problems that i see.  I did a flick roll and lost both my outer wing panels.  I hit auto at 500KIA and lost 2k(i did this X3)  The pilot sits way to the right, which i was told to accomadate right eyed pilots ok(i killed a newb no worries) also the 110 seems to be nose heavy, are we finally saying the 110 is what it is?,,,,  a nothing plane?  Put the hurri 2c in that same class please.  The 109 g14 seems to be better as does the 30 mm on the k4. Also the b17 has lost some speed  dont think thats a good thang.  I do not post much but I thought well what the hey, its teufl time.....l:aok

I haven't noticed a difference with 30mm in the K4... is the dispersion different or something? I've still seen a few phantom taters, so I don't think that's what you mean... I do find the K4 much more nimble now. Keep forgetting to try the G14.. how much faster is it than before?

Whoops wasnt thinking when typed that.

Well seems that every time I turn on the combat trim in the 262, is his nose heavy.  Before this patch the 262 would fly level with combat trim on.  Now with combat trim on the 262 is really nose heavy or the trim on the combat trim is lower on the elevators causing the nose to point down.

I just found out that the 262 auto pilot does not work the hard but funny way.

Lets just say that I had to paddle back to my base. :rofl

I just wonder if this a true mistake or has HT been smokin to much and thinkin alot more?  Does he want us to be more conscous of g forces?  I flew arados today and they seem to have the nose heavy thing going also.  Far as I'm concerned its damn hard to hit anything in the 262 OR the 163 let alone worrying about plowing the field(kazaa) or ripping off wing panels with the slightest of stick movements.   We shall see if there is another patch soon.                                                                                                                                                       IF I FLY ENOUGH BOMBERS SOONER OR LATER I CAN BE A FITER JOCK :noid

Our squad did a 262 raid lastnite and I noticed right away the "nose heavy" effect in auto cruise

Also one of my guys popped a wing in a low G turn.

I wont be upping another 262 the way it is now, I'd rather lose 10 Tempests.
