Right-click map menu

Guys

For the last 7 week my right-click map menu (Field names, Zones.edit maps,etc) will not work while i am in flight , in gv or pt boat but will work when i am on the ground as in the tower.
Any help would be nice, iwish to have it fixed for Stalins Fourth, as it may be to difficult to help my side so i may not play.

If you are flying a bomber and just dropped your bombs and went back to calibrate mode to follow and watch the bombs hit, that function won't work until you get out of calibrate mode. I thought something was wrong with my maps until I discovered that was the culprit.

Two possible reasons:

#1: SNo said it already. Pressing the "u" key once should resolve the issue (as it takes you out of calibration mode).


#2: If you are flying with a mouse (no Joystick/gamepad etc plugged) the right mouse button will lock flight control and ensure normal mouse usage. No using the right mouse button for pulldown menu in that case. (Hence a Joystick is a System Requirement).

Thx Schatzi tryed that it didnt work i do use a joystick i will keep working on it.

left click on SHIPS

then left click on CANCEL

And dont you dare not showing up for frames because you think youre no help!! Thats BS (pardon my crudeness here).


Have you checked your "Select Joystick" screen... maybe you inadvertantly assigned the right mouse button to some other function while in flight.


Apart from that... my only idea would be: Backup your Settings folder. Then delete it and let AH create a new one (it does that on starting the game). Then check if the "bug" is gone.

If it is, copy the old settings back in file-group or file by file. That way youll see which one is the culprit.

If its not gone.... try calling/mailing Skuzzy?

This happened to me when we switched from AH1 to AH2.  Try this-

Skuzzy suggested I rename my settings folder and launch the game offline to see if it worked and it did.  My jsmap.config file (also imported from AH1) somehow got corrupted and caused this problem in AH2.  Problem solved thanks to Skuzzy.
