Toronto Maple Leafs 1. New Jersey Devils 0.

My prediction?

TML: 4 NJD: 1

Toronto vs Colorado in Finals.

Kings over Maple Leafs in 5 games, with the Kings losing game 1, then forcing OT in game 2 by challenging Dave Manson's stick dimensions with 2 minutes left, trailing by 1. Manson goes ballistic and attacks the ref, drawing a minor for the stick and a game misconduct, uniting American public opinion against the barbarians from the North. Kings pull the goalie and score on the minor, then put the Leafs away in OT. The Kings then sweep the demoralized Leafs in the next 3 games, clinching on the road in Toronto, where Potvin moons the crowd while skating with the Cup. You heard it here first.

That would be a bitter sweet victory for Potvin. US Leaf fans couldn't stand him, he was a horrible goalie. I don't think LA will get past Colorado.

Nash I assume you remember the last time the Kings were in the finals.

PS They smoked the Leaves on the way to that final last time.

All Canadian teams will fail as usual.

Yeah...

Was once a pure game... Now the cup is routinely bought. Look at any of the top 5-10 teams and tell me this aint the case.

Seems the only thing people have a legitimate claim to brag about these days can be thier owner's deep pockets.

Gary Betman sure did make a mess of this league.

I could have told you that when he took over. He ran the NBA proir to the NHL and Americanized hockey.

Next there will be cheerleaders.

Ah well, Toronto is going to put out NJ then the Pens, then Colorado in the finals and take the cup.
