Assuming this is the "startup screen" of Aces High, id say this is a Vid card problem.

What are your system specs? Which GraphicsCard and especially which drivers are you using? Are they the newest ones?

Best thing to do would probably be: Run a DXDIAG (START > RUN > dxdiag) and post the text output here or mail it to Support. Skuzzy then can look through it and maybe/hopefully help you further.

Video card and/or video card driver is the normal culprit.

Need specific information about your video card and driver. You can get that information from DXDIAG (Start->Run->DXDIAG), under the "Display" tab.

Correct me if I am wrong here, but can't this also be a directX problem?

DirectX 9.0c is the latest still?

At any rate make sure you have the latest directX downloaded.
