I was at work and a student told me she was going to do something with a tape that had just got done airing. I told her "Copy That" and I walked around the corner to check on a few things.

I came back around and noticed she was gettign everything set up to copy that tape. I asked her why she was going to do that and she said thats what I told her to do.

I find myself saying copy or rgr on my business phone calls. The persons on the other end would say "What did you say?" I would respond back, yes I heard you. They said I thought you were flying or something. I just smile and think yes I wish I was flying.

I went online with my throwback stick setup...  Got tooled.  WMLute repeatedly sneeked up on me in plain sight and got me a dozen times without me even seeing him coming.

The prob is I didn't bring my good stick setup with me and the stick I have, although a decent new CH flightstick pro, only has a 4-way hat and no pinkie button.  I'm having to totally re-learn the game visual lookout techniques I last used about 5 years ago when I won my good stick at the con dueling tourny winging with Drex.  I spent over an hour calibrating the stick (it spikes near center in roll so I have a large deadband... ugh) and remapping keys, buttons, and views, so although it's usable it's still not intuitive yet.  I'll have to re-do the cockpit view positions on most of the planes to compensate for no quartering views, and I still need to work on remapping keys because with my good stick/throttle, it didn't matter what keys did what because I programmed them all into the stick and throttle buttons.  Having the trim and flap keys on opposite sides of the keyboard just doesn't help in a flat scissors...

I don't like ANY of the sticks currently on the market so I'll just suffer through with what I have for the next year.  At least I brought my rudder pedals...

When i play bike polo or soccer i have been called "Ace" in a sarcastic tone for yelling out things like "Bogey on you 6" and "deflection shot" like an air race announcer while playing, ya this doesnt help get the ladys let me tell ya, and the one i have doesnt find it that amusing, i once when slow dancing i said "ok lets yaw to the left" and "ok pitching 45 degrees" i think she thougth it was cute at first.
