T 34 lost own tank graphics and high eng sound
« on: March 26, 2006, 05:24:33 AM »
I rolled over my T-34 in stalins fourth scenario.

Then suddenly the graphics for my own tank disappeard and the engine sound raced up into a high whining engine sound, pretty loud and higher pitched than usual (over reved). I could still change postions, fire the turrent gun and the mg (saw hits on the ground from the guns fired). After i switched off the engine the whine stopped, but still no graphics of my own tank.

There was the little green text in upper left corner stating the ammo when in turrent or mg, but no other graphic of my own tank.

Could not tower since it said im still moving, i had to alt-f4 to get back out of the t-34. I am not sure if vehicle supplies would have helped, had none available and in the scenario no chance of getting any.

This was with ah2 2.07 patch 1 on the new karelia map (the one up on 25th of march).

I have it on film (the lying, not the roll over i switched on film after bug started)... tell me if you want me to send it to you.

I used to have a problem when I spawned and would have no GV with the hi pitched engine noise, and I was given a fix, I think with the sound settings.  I wish I could remember what the fix was, but there is a fix if your problem is somehow the same as the one I had.

That means you fell through the map. Try moving to the driver's seat and ejecting (can you eject from a vehicle?? I can't remember)

Rapier....the 'fix' is to move your "move" slider all the way down.

I think it's in settings/video/GUI on the clipboard

Shatzi told me this one. I don't think it's related to a roll, though
