Hey, I don't know what happened.

The pi... uh, cop, says he politely said "excuse me miss, would you mind showing me some ID?" And maybe gingerly laid a hand on her shoulder.

The "napy haired BLACK WOMAN CONGERESS person" says she was chased and grabbed... and since the guy who grabbed her was a cop, I doubt it was gently.

Was she in the wrong?  Probably, as evidenced by the "race card" being thrown out.  But that doesnt mean the cop didn't decide to show her who's boss, with her being a "napy haired BLACK WOMAN" and all.

"When she tried to bypass a metal detector, the six-term congresswoman -- who was not wearing the lapel pin that enables members of Congress to enter and exit the building freely -- was stopped by an officer with the Capitol Police."

How can she not follow security policy and expect to run around metal detectors without being challenged?

Not the first time it's happened. She's always refused to wear the pin to bypass the checkpoints. When she was first elected, a similar event happened, and security had to post a picture of her so nobody hassled her.
