this remends me of the time i was playing a turn based wwi fighter board game. at the beginning of every match we would all sing "III WEEENT TOO THE DANGER ZONE!" good times.

my friends and i have a second-rate band called Spakko Munkle. we are soon going to me making a song about kicking ass. the sound quality will be horrible but it will be a fun song...kinda like a certain game i know.

I think some Glen Miller would be appropriate.  'In the Mood'.. .. edit, as alluded by the original poster.. D'oh! maybe a little 'Chattanooga Choo-Choo' when that vehicle of brutal ackiness shows up.

I agree that would be cool to have startup music. It would also cost money for royalty rights to play an artists music. It is possible to make some sort of startup sound or music that has been made from scratch.
