On the lighter side, Delay says he intends to combat corruption in the private sector :rofl

what I don't understand is why people are surprised to find out that politicians are corrupt.

on a better lighter side: he says that he does intend to spend more time doing his charity work involving foster kids.  What an evil evil man!

so let me get this straight, you wish for a one party system in america, as long as it is The Party in charge.

I don't think I attributed the 200 crooks in congress to any one party. Are you claiming they're all republicans?

anyone that compares ripsnort to cabby, or mg for that matter, is clearly on the dark side of the moon.  If rip is guilty of anything, it is consistency of views expressed.  rip is consistent and no doubt believes in the conservative philosophy.

Even comparing cabby to mg does a great disservice to cabby (who aside from his unabashed pandering to wildbill has a solid set of conservative political beliefs).

From the Daily Kos, not exactly a "right wing blog"

"By the end of his term, 138 Reagan administration officials had been convicted, had been indicted, or had been the subject of official investigations for official misconduct and/or criminal violations.

Oh, and it doesn't really matter becuase this gotcha game will go on no matter who is in power. The Delay thing will only empower corrupt prosecutors to do what Ronny Earl had done to many of his political enemies in Texas.

In the 18yrs since the end of his term, almost 200 more Reagan cronies have been indicted. Notice you're comparing apples and oranges. Also, the entire paragraph reads:

"By the end of his term, 138 Reagan administration officials had been convicted, had been indicted, or had been the subject of official investigations for official misconduct and/or criminal violations. In terms of number of officials involved, the record of his administration was the worst ever."

Worse even than Nixon. I'll bet aWol won't settle for second place though.

Even worse is you are ONLY counting aleged republicans in this number.   You are also trying to paint a picture that they are ALL like that.  I'd be interested to see some Kos  quotes on democrat incidtments......I bet no one on his site cares enough to post them. It's all about Bush.  Keep with it dems, it's working wonders!  :aok
