Bomber Kills???

OK, My question is how are Bomber kills recorded? Because I look at my score page and it may say for example 6 kills. When I may have the night before gotten 10 kills in an IL2 or A20 (selected bomber in hanger) and say 4 as a gunner while flying a B24. Based on these figures, shouldn't I have at least 14 kills? I am assuming either the gunner position or the pilot postion (when in an IL2) doesn't register.

So now my question would be why? To me a kill is a kill. They should all register. Not like I am a score potato but I would like to know just for curiosity sake how many kills in a bomber I ACTUALLY had in a camp.

Can HT or someone clear this up for me.

I was under the impression that only the kills you get with ordnance count when scored as bomber, and that kills with the fixed forward guns and/or ordnance were both tallied under attack.

Kills as a gunner are separate, presumably since you can gun for others, and the system sees you as attached to a player, and not a plane type.

That's the impression I have though.

like what Hubs said but be sure to score IL2 and I think A20 in the correct catagory i.e attack or bomber.

Oh, nearly forgot... go to main score page and check out your score.  It's more indepth and indeed shows your bomber kills.  Main score in one of the drop downs on AH home page:aok

There could also be a timing issue.  You say you had the kills the night before and checked them in the morning.  Give a full 24 hours for all the score pages to fully update.  (I believe they update only once per day??)
