It'd be nice to see abit of glare in the windshield/canopy. This way you get the feeling you actually look trough glass.
At the moment, it looks like there's no glass inside the frames at all!

To think about dirt, sun-glare, reflections from inside the cockpit etc.

i really like it!

have it so there is a very transparent texture, just a large bright cirlce kinda thing, with the spikey glary things out of the sides, and map that onto the inside of the cockpit, which changes positions as you turn your head:aok

..like a lens flare? Air Warrior had something like that.

I thought AH1 was like that early on as well..and they removed it?

In Falcon 4.0 you didn't have the lens flare..but transparent refelctions of the inside of the cockpit against the glass, which was a nice effect.

kinda.

what i was really thinking of is the reflection of the sun on the inside of the canopy, so kind of like they do in F4, but brighter, being a glare from the sun on the cockpit plexiglass:aok

lockon: modern air combat did it very well.... you could see your reflection and the refletction of the controlls and such. it also had those wierd spider web crack thingys that it seems modern planes' canopys have.... maybe its something to do with the pressure?
