LoL, ok i understand that. But since im the one that bites the tree usualyl anyway - not much of a difference to me doing that in the TA or in the DA.

What i would like to see are more "vets" in the TA for "advanced fighting practicing".  No scheduled stuff, just logging on, look whos there, roll for a fight or two or more. Kind of like the old DA used to be.
That way the TA would be less of a "daycare center" and "newbie only". I sometimes miss some advanced learning there (besides scheduling sessions with a trainer) - im talking about 20 mins warmup before going MA, or just logging on for a fight or two.
21 is only half the truth.

I can try but I know I will get bored fast.  It is a game and that means, there is no fun in it without being competitive.  At the end of the fight you want to know if you won or lost.  You will have a bigger problem with the 303s.  How will you know if you killed me?  Practice is fine but it gets boring without the competing factor.

Plus, hearing the sound of some guy with a latin name (Infested I think he goes by now?) exploding is priceless :D

Hey, if you are not doing anything important tonight, maybe we can meet by that field on the right side of the map and kick some HQ arse for a couple of hours?

Anyone care to join us?  We start 10K and on the count of three we dive our LANCs.  First one to auger missing HQ wins

Agreed, the TA's great for practice...  You go in there with a bud and just shoot the crud out of each other.  You don't even have to type "gk" or break off, just keep on going.  It's a whole lot easier to get in some practice dodging shots if you can keep flying after the first one you screw up then if you can't.

DA's fun too, and good practice as well, but you just can't get as much out of an ammo load in there.

Once my PC's back up and running (been in shop for a few weeks so who knows when lol) I'd like to get in there with you.  I haven't flown for a few months and need to figure everything out again.

Now you can't do that since you have to go with apointment only, and only fight one guy, one stile, and get bored fast. [/B][/QUOTE]

I'd not been to the TA for some time, for reasons outlined....but I've been gettgin some GREAT pickup training there in the past week. Just show up, look for a trainer guy (thanks TC, Murdr, Badboy, Widewing) or an experienced vet (like BatfinkV or Infestus/bovidae) and have at it.

When I see his gunmuzzles, i know he had a kill shot even if he doesnt pull; We can eother keep going or reset. For interest sake, I consider taking hits first to mean I lost -- but in TA I get to keep going, without interruption. 'Course at my level there've been whole sessions where I didnt get to clear my guns, but hey...it'll improve!

If there's nobody there except the zip codes, I may hang around to help out where I can, or head to AvA or MA as the mood strikes.

Yeap his good.

I'v had A go at turn fighting his P51-D in A Tempest, it was far from 1 sided, but he did have the upper hand.
